Julie Porter, Vice President Finance.
Julie brings to 20 years experience in accounting and financial management, specializing in start-up and technology companies. Currently, she is also the head of finance for an emerging clinical trials software company in RTP, and has prior industry experience as head of finance in retail, cardiology, software marketing, publishing, HR & payroll services and biotechnology. Julie's public accounting foundation includes extensive experience in audit, tax, payroll, and financial reporting. Julie managed several non-profit organizations during her career, including a NIST-funded technology research organization exploring high-density disk storage, a cardiology research foundation (biotech application was sold to Eli Lilly & Co) and a fine arts ministry with several annual performances at the regional arts theatre near San Francisco, CA.
