Daryl Porter, President & Head of Technology
Daryl founded mindsong based on the firmly held belief that Cloud Computing had already created two provocative corollaries for Moore's Law: The cost of software operations should drop by half every two years; and the production capability of agile 5-person teams ought to increase by a factor of 5 every 2 years.
With that in mind, Daryl uses his extensive enterprise software development background to evaluate emerging Cloud Computing Architectures against unique business requirements to create the right tools at the right price.
Whether it's the strict FDA compliance regulations of clinical research organizations or the fragmented claims chain of commercial insurance or the distributed global supply chain of custom jewelry design the Cloud is presenting disruptive opportunities that dampen costs while amplifying productivity.
At mindsong, Daryl has worked on a wide ranging set of projects.
Entrepreneurial results include developing an ODM-compliant eCRF Casebook Generator, an FDA-Compliant Digital Signature Feature and a Clinical Intelligence Sales & Marketing Tool.
